MCIS is a dynamic program led by passionate mothers, creating safe spaces to heal, mobilize, advocate, and navigate relevant systems.
Vision: To create a safe, prosperous, and healthy community.
Mission: Mobilizing, advocating, and engaging the Black community to combat youth violence, while creating safe spaces for healing and opportunities.
MCIS is actively leading transformative community change through awareness campaigns and community activism. The program provides support to neighborhoods facing similar issues and develops community response and healing action plans during crises.
