Empowering Youth at Ummah Hub
The Ummah Hub Youth Centre is a vibrant, youth-driven space dedicated to empowering Black and racialized youth in Hamilton. Our mission is to create a safe, inclusive, and culturally responsive environment where young people can connect, grow, and thrive.
At Ummah Hub, youth engage in a variety of programs that promote both personal and academic growth. Activities include:
- Career exploration events introducing diverse pathways
- A coding program to build essential tech skills
- A homework club providing academic support
- Culturally tailored mentorship and leadership training
- Summer camps and recreational activities for fostering friendships
We believe that every young person deserves the opportunity to succeed. Our programs are designed to equip them with the skills and confidence to face life’s challenges.
